As leaders know, change is constant. But the disruption brought by the pandemic for the past 18 months and counting has given this a whole new meaning! Not only is the change continuous, but it is ubiquitous across the way we work to how we manage our wellbeing to our social engagements and more. In addition, the change is rapid as seen by the accelerated adoption of emerging technologies like Digital Workspace, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Services etc. With so much overlapping change and no reset expected, how can leaders stay effective? How can leaders rise to the challenge and create a positive impact at a broader level, that may also help define their personal leadership legacy?
This is a unique opportunity to not just survive but to adapt to the changing dynamic, reimagine the best possible future to thrive and emerge as transformational leaders. This panel brings together successful women executives in diverse roles and industries who are defining the new normal in their fields and positioning their organizations for opportunities in that new normal. Join this session to learn practical strategies and tactics applied by the panelists to provide clarity in face of ambiguity, rally the teams towards a shared purpose and deliver results in constrained environments. Hear how the leaders are thoughtfully leveraging technology and new processes to redefine best-practices for a happy and effective workplace. In addition, hear lessons learned and personal insights on how the panelists have stayed motivated and navigated their career paths during this time.

Driving Value of Equity, Inclusion and Belonging in a Tech Organization
Creating a work environment where women can thrive and have the support to grow their careers is a known gap in the tech industry. With last months being focused on survival of businesses during pandemic, there was less attention and resources given to breaking barriers for professional advancement of diverse talents.
To address that gap, Workday identified the need for giving female workmates the opportunities to discover, develop and manage skills to build leadership foundations – either personal leadership or in the form of future management roles. To address this need, we created gigs (short-term projects) tasked to create and deliver programmes that will drive that change. Total of six programs were created to support women’s career development during all career stages, from actively promoting attracting women to the tech industry, building up the right skills to thrive, and supporting and enabling women’s career aspirations.
Join this session to learn how these programs came to life:
From having an idea to securing resources and internal buy-in;
To developing the programme that will move the needle;
And reaping the benefits for women at Workday and the organization as a whole.
Speakers
Michelle Dawkins, Workday, Presales Director
Joanna Stachowska, Workday, Manager Pre-Sales DACH
Vedrana Bogdan, Workday, Presales Manager
